Boynton Beach, FL, July 7, 2025 — Healthcare Transactions Group is pleased to announce that it arranged the sale of Baptist Home of Independence, Missouri, a 118-bed skilled nursing facility (SNF) and 20-bed Residential Care Facility (RCF). The SNF and RCF comprise 50,276 square feet on a 3.6-acre campus. Affiliates of Prime Healthcare Management acquired the facility from The Baptist Homes of Missouri, a faith-based nonprofit organization based in Jefferson City, Missouri. Prime Healthcare has owned and operated other post-acute facilities in Missouri and maintains a regional office in Independence, Missouri. The transaction closed on July 1, 2025. Price and other details of the transaction are confidential.
Baptist Homes acquired this facility in 2021 and substantially renovated the physical plant to better serve the community. After engaging Healthcare Transactions Group to evaluate and recommend strategic options, this marks the first time Baptist Homes of Missouri has divested any senior care property.
