Mark Davis will moderate a panel discussion on development of new services in nursing homes at the first annual 2010 NIC National Skilled Nursing Investment Forum. Panelists will include Paul Dauerman, CEO of Peregrine Health Services and David Tosetto, Executive Vice President of Development, Elderwood Health Group. Mr. Dauerman will talk about development of Alzheimer’s Care unit and Mr. Tosetto will speak on development and acquisition strategies to reduce operating cost and improve profitability.
The conference will focus on what it takes to evolve into the skilled nursing center of tomorrow, relative to industry changes and challenges. Noted industry leaders will speak on the state of the industry, reimbursement and regulations and participants will also hear real-life case studies of facility upgrades with in-depth discussion of the capital and reimbursement strategies utilized by the key stakeholders to update their business models.
